Imposter syndrome makes you feel inadequate or incapable of doing something new even though you have the knowledge or the skills to do it. Have you ever felt that way? I know I have.
You’re not an imposter or a fraud. You just lack confidence and experience. It can be a vicious cycle whenever we’re venturing into new territory like:
- Starting a business
- Offering a new service
- Marketing ourselves
We’re just outside of our comfort zone and feel exposed and vulnerable. It’s a scary feeling and one I’ve experienced many times myself.
It is important to learn how to deal with imposter syndrome. So tune in to this episode and learn to:
- Separate fact from feeling
- Stop comparing yourself to others
- Tracking your successes and celebrating them
- Embrace mistakes
Another good way to combat the imposter syndrome and feel more confident about yourself is to be prepared in a professional way from the very beginning. Make sure to read my Ultimate VA Success Guide: How To Start A VA Business to get all the details.
