Top Signs It’s Time to Rebrand Your Business

Ever found yourself wondering if it’s time for a rebrand?

Maybe you feel like your current brand just doesn’t fit anymore. Well, you’re not alone. Let me share a bit about my journey. When I started my business 15 years ago as a VA, I picked a name without much thought.

Sound familiar?

My original business name, Comprehensive Virtual Solutions, didn’t quite click for me. After about a year and a half, I shook things up and rebranded as Clever Collaborations. But as my focus shifted to teaching tech to VAs, freelancers, and consultants, I realized I needed a new name that reflected that.

And so, Techie Mentor was born. But enough about me! Let’s talk about you and signs it might be time for a rebrand.

  1. First, if you’ve outgrown labels like “VA” or “freelancer” in your business name, it could hold you back. Your brand should resonate with you and your vision, not limit your growth based on industry perceptions.
  2. Similarly, shifting your niche or target audience or diversifying your services might signal that it’s time for a change. Ultimately, how your brand feels to you is critical. If it doesn’t feel right, it might be time for a refresh or rebrand.

Remember, a rebrand can be as big or small as you want it to be. Whether you change your name, niche, and services or just give your current brand a fresh coat of paint, it’s all about what feels right for you and your business.
